Today's Challenge: Plan Spring Activities
Any baseball fans out there? We are San Francisco Giants fans and also like to watch our local Rivercats play when we get the chance. There is something so American about going to a game and rooting on your team with family and friends, especially on a fireworks night,
Younger Boy is in his fourth season of PONY baseball and this is my second year as scorekeeper. I have learned so much more about baseball just by keeping score at the games, it has truly made me appreciate the sport more. The games keep us pretty active; two games a week, plus the occasional practice, not to mention hip hop classes for older boy and volunteer work at church.
Despite the hectic schedule of baseball and dance classes, I want to plan out time for us to have fun as a family, participating in different activities. Some of the ideas I have found:
Catching a minor league baseball game
Spring Eggstravaganza at Fairy Tale Town - an egg hunt for Baby B!
Picnics
Hiking - I love Hidden Falls Trail in Auburn, CA
Wee One Wednesdays - starting April 2nd at 10 am (free for 5 and under in Roseville Town Square)
Food Truck nights (first Thursday of each month in Roseville Town Square)
$1 Root Beer Floats at Big Spoon Yogurt in Rocklin and Roseville, CA on March 16th
Farmer's Market
Alameda Antique Faire
Berry Fest
